My Goals:
Exercise 3 - 5 days per week.
Burn 1500 calories per week.
Eat balanced, healthy, and nutritious small meals.
Reduce my blood pressure.
Reduce my cholesterol.
Maintain a healthy BMI


My Program:
- Track my nutrition daily.
- Track, my fitness daily.

Remember that food is fuel!

My typical meals are:

Breakfast - some kind of hot or cold cereal, 1/2 bagel with a little margarine (such as Smart Balance) and whipped cream cheese, coffee

Lunch - huge salad with turkey or chicken, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tsp olive oil, italian seasonings, and something else like a Kashi cookie, piece of fruit, or fat free chocolate pudding

Dinner - sometimes I use ideas from SparkRecipes to try something new. With so many resources available these days, it's easy to find something new to try!

Dessert - ummm...not a huge dessert eater after dinner but I log some snacks in as desserts.

Snacks I have- fresh fruit or fresh, raw veggies. Nuts (have to be careful though..I could eat the whole can!), peanut butter, and cheese, just to name a few.

Personal Information:
I am 55 and married with no children. We have two rescued greyhounds who we adopted from NGAP (National Greyhound Adoption Program) and one cat we adopted from a local animal shelter.



Other Information:
I enjoy traveling with my husband; cruising is our favorite type of vacation. We go as often as we can afford to.

Vegetable gardening is one of my favorite summer-time hobbies. I also play in a hand bell choir.

I'm on a local CART (count animal response team) and I volunteer at a local animal shelter.

Hi - camp was wonderful! I was under a little outside stress due to an aging father, and then a family friend died. Camp is so restful that it was the perfect place for me to handle those stresses.
