To lose 100lbs.

To be able to walk and hike when we go traveling to our favorite places.

I am trying to journal everyday. Use my walking tapes and Coach Nicoles DVD's. Working on my portion control.

Personal Information:
My name is Kathy, and I am a Christian. I am 62 yr. young, Grandma of
5 and have been married to the love of my life for 43yrs. I am a retired dental assistant and nursing assistant. I have thyroid disease and RA of the hands and feet spreading to other joints of my body. I need to lose this weight.

Other Information:
I love Lake Superior, hiking, reading, needle work, animals, bird watching, and most of all my grandchildren. I am truely blessed.
We live in Minnesota.

Thanks for the blog comment. One thing I did not share with you in the blog was that the person I was talking to was a minister!!! I thought he would have been uplifting me rather than the other way around, you know?

emoticon Kathy! Think of healthy living as a career. Make goal setting a regular part of your life. Become a permanent participant in sustaining better lifestyle choices. Focus on one goal at a time to become a healthier you. Develop an action plan for each goal and finish what you start. Each positive change will lead you to better results. You CAN and WILL turn your GOALS into the results that you are striving for!
