One Day At A Time

I am a 36 yr old mom to a beautiful (almost 3yr old) little girl and am with the most wonderful man in the world who's helping me raise her.
This past year I've had spurts where I really did well and then seem to just maintain the rest of the time. I know that's better than putting it on back on but I'm hoping to one day dig deep enough to finally hit my ultimate goal. Growing up I never had problems with weight but then I became a pregnant teen and put on over 100 lbs b/c of the stress and heartache of giving my baby up for adoption.
Ever since then I have been on the weight loss roller coaster and it seems that I have found myself at the bottom going up once again. Just once in my life it would be nice to drop ALL the weight and never be on that ride again!

I know I could think of several excuses as to why I can't overcome all the obstacles that stand in my way but I know I need to push those aside and fight for what I deserve.

My Program:

FOOD:
To sub two meals with protein shakes & eat one meal and 2 snacks in between. Focusing on lots of organic foods! Lean proteins, lots of veggies and low on fruits.
Drinking all water.
WORKOUT:
Monday - Saturday
Lots of cardio and resistance bands a couple times a week.
Love Zumba, Turbo Jam, Insanity and Tae Bo

1200 calories? I don't know how you survive! I can eat 1200 calories but my body doesn't really respond positively to it. :( When I was losing 8 pounds a month I was averaging 1600-1800 calories. I also need to up my exercise, walking is great but obviously not a huge calorie burner. I am going to try to stay around 1400 with upping the exercise and then try upping it a little if it doesn't work. After all my emotional turmoil I ended up losing a pound this week, so at least it's something. :)

the problem with ramen noodles is the spice packet more than anything else.... I'm leaning towards pasta nests
& letting the ramen be a passing fad for this week... glad to read from you and as you can guess I would be first in line to read anything you blog (dare I say it: vlog)
