I am a 38 yr old mom to two beautiful girls. I am also engaged to the most wonderful man in the world and couldn't be any happier with my family. This past year I've had spurts where I really did well and then seem to just maintain the rest of the year. I know what I'm actually capable of and with the help of team beachbody and spark I know I'll get there...one day at a time...one workout at a time & one shake at a time! Growing up I never had problems with weight but then I became a pregnant teen and put on over 100 lbs b/c of the stress and heartache of giving my baby up for adoption. Ever since then I have been on the weight loss roller coaster. Now in my late 30's I'm taking back what is mine and will once and for all stay off that roller coaster! I know I could think of several excuses as to why I can't overcome all the obstacles that could stand in my way but I wont! I will push any negative thoughts aside and fight for what I deserve....what my family deserves!

FOOD: To sub two meals with protein shakes & eat one meal and two snacks in between. Focusing on lots of organic foods! Lean proteins, lots of veggies and low on fruits.
Drinking all water.

WORKOUT:
Monday - Saturday
Lots of cardio and resistance bands a couple times a week.
Love Zumba, Turbo Jam, Insanity and Tae Bo & PiYo

    I’ve been working my fanny off to be healthy, lose weight and have more energy. I’ve been at it for months now and have done wonderful! So now that I’ve been so successful, I can take a meal break and have a double bacon cheeseburger, large fries and a soda!!! Yay!! .....WRONG!!! This is a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix until I hit that magic number or get that magic thin feeling. Train your brain and the rest will fall into place! Keep working at it….the rewards are not food related.

    thanks! haha...somehow I still found a bit of that cake that got "saved" the next day :P BAH! emoticon emoticon BUT, I made the right decision that moment and I have no prob throwing out extra "junk". Its fun to have cake for a party, but don't need the extras...unless its a super healthy one :D haha... :) Hope you are well...I had an encouraging day...not really with my head, but just tonz of reminders of how loved I am. was good...AND I got to the gym and did an arm ST session. Love it! :) Hows YOU?
