One Day At A Time

I am a 36 yr old mom to a beautiful (almost 3yr old) little girl and expecting another in Dec 2014. I am also with the most wonderful man in the world and couldn't be any happier.

This past year I've had spurts where I really did well and then seem to just maintain the rest of the time. Now that I'm expecting I'm really going to have to dig deep and keep myself in check so I don't gain a ton of weight. I know what I'm actually capable of and with the help of all my great spark ...

Now that I'm expecting I'm really going to have to dig deep and keep myself in check so I don't gain a ton of weight. I know what I'm actually capable of and with the help of all my great spark friends I know I'll get there...one day at a time!

Growing up I never had problems with weight but then I became a pregnant teen and put on over 100 lbs b/c of the stress and heartache of giving my baby up for adoption.
Ever since then I have been on the weight loss roller coaster. Just once in my life it would be nice to drop ALL the weight and never be on that ride again, lol.

I know I could think of several excuses as to why I can't overcome all the obstacles that stand in my way but I know I need to push those aside and fight for what I deserve....what my family deserves!


Current Status:
LOVINSHERRY78 12 days is to long to skip spark! still hovering in the 190's and baby is growing great. def need to keep my butt on here so i keep my butt out of the fridge ;-) Any updates on u?

UPDATED: 5-27-14

PREGNANCY PLAN...
FOOD: Three small meals and two snacks a day. Focusing on lean proteins, organic fruits and veggies.
Drinking lots of water and some organic 2% milk.
WORKOUT: Three times a week. Walking & Zumba.

NON-PREGNANCY PLAN...
FOOD: To sub two meals with protein shakes & eat one meal and two snacks in between. Focusing on lots of organic foods! Lean proteins, lots of veggies and low on fruits.
Drinking all water.
WORKOUT:
Monday - Saturday
Lots of cardio and resistance bands a couple times a week.
Love Zumba, Turbo Jam, Insanity and Tae Bo

Hey! Yes, I've seen Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. That's something different. I've done a 30-day juice fast before which is similar to what the guy did in the documentary. It was a spiritual fast though and I wouldn't have been able to do it if it was just for natural weight loss. What I did for the 10-days this time was a smoothie cleanse. Smoothies are not juice. All the nutrition, fiber and everything is intact. It's blended food. It's healthy to drink smoothies, even while pregnant... but probably not healthy to detox. Ask your doctor about it.

it seems no sweetener is much better than another- it's just one thing or another.... not even honey is good for children under the age of one....I guess less is best be it natural or artificial emoticon

where would I purchase those pills from? I hate taking meds and only do it if after laying down to relax and sleep it off doesn't work.
