One Day At A Time

I am a 37 yr old mom to two beautiful girls. I am also with the most wonderful man in the world and couldn't be any happier.

This past year I've had spurts where I really did well and then seem to just maintain the rest of the time. Now that I'm expecting I'm really going to have to dig deep and keep myself in check so I don't gain a ton of weight. I know what I'm actually capable of and with the help of all my great spark friends I know I'll get there...one day at a time!

Growing up I never had problems with weight but then I became a pregnant teen and put on over 100 lbs b/c of the stress and heartache of giving my baby up for adoption.
Ever since then I have been on the weight loss roller coaster. Just once in my life it would be nice to drop ALL the weight and never be on that ride again, lol.

I know I could think of several excuses as to why I can't overcome all the obstacles that stand in my way but I know I need to push those aside and fight for what I deserve....what my family deserves!

FOOD: To sub two meals with protein shakes & eat one meal and two snacks in between. Focusing on lots of organic foods! Lean proteins, lots of veggies and low on fruits.
Drinking all water.

WORKOUT:
Monday - Saturday
Lots of cardio and resistance bands a couple times a week.
Love Zumba, Turbo Jam, Insanity and Tae Bo

thank you so much for the spark goodie! I've been through loads of tissues, and thankfully (hoping & a praying) that I don't need them anymore--at least today I woke up feeling all in the clear :)

Hope you have a fabulous day and don't worry about bouncing around a bit...it happens...just keep doing at least one healthy thing for yourself each day--no matter how crazy it would have been (in a "bad day" terms). Taking care of you includes everything...so whether you do a 5 minute meditation (l've loved these of late!), a 10 minute walk, something that relaxes you (give your mind a break!) etc. be proud of that and know that you just did something healthy!!! Healthy isn't only about eating and exercising...its about taking care of you in all domains. :)
Celebrate those achievements girl, no matter if they seem small, they matter...YOU matter!!! emoticon

thanks for cheering me on! you're a dear!! way to go on shovelling...I SO feel my back from yesterdays power shovelling, car pushing and manually plowing through snow drifts on the sidewalks! Kinda fun though :) Have a great night!
