My Goals:
Lose 67 pounds in little increments, drink lots of water, say no to large portions and start walking.

My Program:
I'm in Stage 3 now. The nutrition tracker is SO helpful! I've printed out my exercise plan, and learned that I can't sit down when I get off work before doing my workout. I'm reading encouraging words, and changing some habits for the better!

Divorced, well adjusted with a few bad habits; comfort food being one of them.

I use a weighted Hula Hoop, not the cheap plastic one you get at wal-mart! lol! I still can'y keep one of those up.

The weighted hula hoop weighs about 4 lbs. It is much easier to use but.... it takes time to build up to it. When I first started I could only do it for 1-2 minutes at a time. It hurts and I was sore around my middle (front & back) for the first few days. But after a few days it went away. I slowly have built myself up. I usually do 8-15 minutes about 5 days a week. An excellent core workout.

I have never been to Bartlesville, I was telling my hubby we need to go there one nice day in spring, just to check it out. It seems like we talk about exploring here (we just moved here a year ago) but it doesn't happen. Its to easy to stay in your same routine. But we have a list of places nearby that we want to go to, even if its just a half day.

I agree that many times we use the "when I lose the weight I will....." excuse. I too have tried to stop doing that, I'm really trying to focus on that I am more than a number on the scale. I try to be grateful for any kind of loss, pounds of inches or change such as better blood pressure. I know that with this huge support community and with God by my side, I can do this and so can you!

Im waiting for that treadmill to come. I bought it from Amazon Prime.... FREE shipping yessss. My husband is skeptical about the quality of it, so now I am hoping I made the right choice. Sight unseen ya know. I do know that is measures in metric not miles, that is bothersome lol. At least I took the initiative to buy something to get started on exercise right? We will be walking buddies because there is no way I'm running!!! emoticon

IM DOWN 12 LBS NOW AND NEED TO ADD EXERCISE TO MY PROGRAM ALSO! THAT IS MY NEXT STEP. I ORDERED A TREADMILL BUT I'M AFRAID I MIGHT BE TOO HEAVY FOR IT. WE SHALL SEE. SORRY ALL CAPS......
