Hello, it's been quite some time since I've really had the opportunity to sit down and update much here on spark. I've been a member for 3 yrs this month and I can't say how much sparkpeople has helped me. So when I just decided to let it all go one day and fell off, well you can imagine the results that happened to get me where I am today AGAIN. But as we are all human and you've spent a lifetime of living badly to begin with, for some it's not so hard to easily fall right back into that pattern with just one terrible thing gone wrong in your life. Yep, that's exactly what I did and all that wonderful weight I lost blew right out the window.
Here I am today back at it again and I certainly want to say that this is it. I know I can do it. As a matter of fact I WILL DO IT. Why? Because I did enjoy all that energy I had, because I enjoyed buying clothes for a change and actually looking in a mirror and not see this frumpy looking woman. And I look at this picture on here of the day hubby and I were at his parents house and think, gosh, I didn't look so bad.
These days though I have a bit of a ways to go to get back to that and I'm sure I will. Would love it to be overnight, but since that isn't going to happen, I'm content with the level I'm getting back daily. That accounts for something!
I don't have the time these days to actually sit down and update all my stuff on spark like I used to, but I DO follow the calorie and food I know I'm supposed to be eating. In actuality to me, not having that time is something of a good thing for me because it means I'm not sitting on my rump lol. The biggest reason though is I work 45 hrs a week now, have 2 grandsons that demand some time, and hubby and I have joined the gym. So by the time the end of the day comes, I'm ready to hit the sack and start again the next day. I'm loving it though and everyday I'm regaining that energy spark once gave me! I do try to track my exercise and I do try to read a bit on spark daily, but if I don't, well, I don't let it get me because I know I AM doing it and I am going to be saying in the near future...WOOT WOOT, I did it!!!
Lose at least 15 more pounds, tighten the stomach up.
See this bootcamp through to the end!
Make it to a size 5, which means I may need to lose more than 15.
No special program other than following SP approved meals, exercising daily.
