Finally -- Time to Focus on My Goals!
2012 brought a lot of changes to my life. Most significantly, I had shoulder surgery that resulted in a frozen shoulder. I went from doing Insanity and P90X to wishing I could do my 1980's Firm VHS videos! The good news is that I'm finally taking a break from the corporate world while I focus on rehabbing my shoulder. Now I finally have the time to cook healthy meals and focus on my weight and fitness goals. I'm a Weight Watcher repeat offender. I first joined ...
I first joined in 1989, and then attended intermittently for years -- until my beloved Weight Watchers leader was fired. I started Sparking in 2007 and haven't stopped since. In 2013 I'm focusing on the nutrition part of weight loss. It's more critical than ever since I can't work out like I used to. A little about me personally: I live in the DFW area, and love to travel domestically and internationally. I adore hiking and hope to one day live somewhere that has great trails.

My Goals:
I completed two rounds of P90X in 2009, and a round of Insanity in February 2010. I also finished P90X2 and really loved the functional fitness aspects of that program. I did a hybrid workout until my shoulder surgery. I lost inches, but not weight. I am positive my nutrition is the missing link to my success.
My Program:
Walking Ellipting Bosu I also love to swim, do pilates, and exercise DVD's, but I can't do any of these until my range of motion returns. I still love those 1980's Firm videos!
Personal Information:
I am very lucky to be married to a great guy who is very supportive. I am a huge fan of Eating Well Magazine and also use Sparkrecipes. Check out my cookbook when you get a chance.
Other Information:
I am looking forward to wonderful things during this next decade. Favorite movies: Blazing Saddles Moonstruck Lord of the Rings Trilogy (great looking guys and beautiful scenery sure help on long flights) Anything Jane Austen I am a Whovian from way back. In fact, I made the Tom Baker scarf in 1983 and still use it at costume parties!
