2015: the year of the Fox!

Just ran my first-ever half marathon, now trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.

Rewards:
11 pounds down: 1920s style silk robe - COMPLETE!
16 pounds down: Aeon Flux cartoon DVDs
21 pounds down: new bookshelves
26 pounds down: red boots
31 pounds down: horseback riding lessons
goal weight: photo shoot and trip to LA to take one of Richard Simmons' classes

My Goals:
1. Get back to my post-Cambridge weight (145 pounds).

2. Break hearts (just not my husband's)

Super long-term goal: run the Big Sur half marathon.

My Program:
Food: Using the SparkSolution as a guide, but incorporating other foods, mostly with recipes from Cooking Light or our CSA. Using my FitBit as a guide to daily calorie amounts.

Exercise: strength training 2 times a week, cardio every day for 20+ minutes.

Personal Information:
I used to be a dancer. My brain still thinks my stomach is in a dancer's body (it's not). I still love dancing, and I like running quite a bit, even though I'm not that great at it yet. I am a retired karaoke star.


Other Information:
I'm a total gym rat. I love working out, and I'll try pretty much any exercise (although I get a little skeptical about some of the hyped-up stuff).

I love World of Warcraft, writing, photography, and of course, dance. I love any music I can dance to, and I love making mix tapes.

I am a wine fanatic and a cocktail aficionado. I'm a total foodie and I love cooking, even though I am the slowest cook of all time. (And the foodie/drink fan is why the being-a-gym-rat thing hasn't made me a skinny B yet lol)

Hi, thanks for your comment on my blog :) The food planning and cooking on Sundays is vital for my success. Fortunately I work it out so that I don't use many dishes, and I eat the same thing every day for breakfast and lunch. I do change it up each week, but due to my budget and my dislike of hours in the kitchen, I find this way easier.
