Hello Coni, I am very happy you put yourself first and met your walking goals. It's a new year and it is the first time in ages that I am left fat trapped in 2010. I did manage to lose 25lbs and not gain it back so far although I am still struggling with the 10lbs I gained and haven't lost I forgive myself. Going to try my best to stay focused and be the best I can be, not beat myself up and keep the junk out of the house.
I would love to see us all stay focus this year. Wishing much success, no more excuses. We are responsible for ourselves. I was just reading an article on Yahoo about people who lost weight and one of the ladies said she treat her daily calories like money so she is cautious about what she puts into her mouth i will try and do the same............Lets really make this a Very Happy New Year, no regrets..........Lynda 1901 days ago
Glad to see you back I know your not going to ever quit on your self you just take some long breaks. I stop running Pat really help me to realize that every time I run I comeback fatter it's a lot less headache to stay in the game. Glad you set a goal for yourself for the month of December well tomorrow is my Birthday I turn 51 December1st, I too have made a goal for the month to drink 8 glasses of water a day. I have my calendar ready by the fridge I will mark it every evening and to take my iron pills every night.
I know we can do this walking 30 minutes a day is a great start and I love the fact that you are giving up the alcohol. Please believe in yourself Coni we can't keep starting over we must know we are worth of better health today is our tomorrow.

So happy to see you back!! Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving too. Mine was good too.... I made my daughter have it at her house, so she had all the mess!! LOL. I love this time of year. I have my Christmas tree up and a few decorations. I'm not going all out though, since I will probably be up in NY for Christmas.
I'm sorry to hear that you have been struggling with your weight loss. But boy, do I understand. NOT relying on food for comfort is the most difficult thing I have ever done! Today is the start of week four of staying on track for me. I give most of the credit to the anti-depressant my doctor put me on.... it has basically turned my brain off from thinking about food! It's amazing. I feel 'normal.' I took my grandson in a bakery/candy store at Busch Gardens last Friday.... and later that night when I was looking at the pictures I realized that I didnt get all excited and feel the need to eat everything in the place while I was there. I went in there and just enjoyed it for the beauty of the baked goods and the wonderful smells. I'm so happy!!
