I enjoy most exercise programs. 5'5" female, 68 yr old, married with 4 adult daughters, retired.



Other Information:
My enjoyments are family, reading, exercise, dogs, movies, gardening, sewing and friends.

Volunteer work suits me. I work at the food bank 2 days per week, at a thrift store 2 days per week and do mailings and serve at the senior center occasionally.

I would never want to go that low. I just could not handle it. I would be happy to be between 75 and 100.

My doctor was not specific. He just said 150gms a day was too much. I assume he wants me to find out where to be from trial and error. I knew that 150 was the upper limit of what most M.D.s recommend for low carb but I don't have diabetes so I assumed I could eat more since I was mainly eating veggies and fruit. For kids 200gms a day sounds okay as most of them are still growing and are still doing some exercise. For someone my age it would be too much.
