Personal Information:
I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and realize both the battle and victory with weight and other issues in life belong to Him.

I retired in May 2012 though finding it to be a transition. Loving the change of pace! SparkPeople has been inspiring me to make some slow & steady changes.

Other Information:
I love investing myself in others especially international students. I also love music that crosses cultural lines.

Thanks so much for your comment on my rough day blog. I'm a very non-confrontational person because my emotions choke me from getting things out so I usually stew about stuff.

My emotions were too raw yesterday and I had to speak my mind as much as I could get out. Thanks so much for your support. It means a lot!

Hi Lindsay, Yes, all's well. Thank you for asking. DH and I are going so much anymore I hardly have time to do any Sparking. LOL! My Mom is still doing great. I'm sooo glad. I thank the Lord daily for the time He has given me to be near her if not with her. We talk at least twice a day on the phone. DH and I are planning a trip out to TN to see his brother. While we're there we're all going to the Grand Ole Opry. I think Trace Adkins will be there. I hope one of the songs he sings is Arlington. It's a tear jerker I know, but I love the song. When we get back we're going to look into going to the Air Force Base Gym on Tue and Thur. They have a group called the Silver Steppers. LOL. It's a low impact class with mild stretching and light dumbbells. Wish us luck. How are things going with you?? I'm sure your keeping busy. Take care and keep in touch. Terry

Soooooo many things to keep us busy these days. What was the webinar about?
My husband and I are house/dog sitting - and they have a nice pool and they border a golf course. I did a 4 fast mile dvd of Leslie Sansone (first time in probably 1 1/2 or 2 years) - trying to get my life back in shape after a couple crazy years. Took a relaxing dip in the pool - read on my Kindle for awhile until I got sleepy and just woke up and saw your comment.
