The title came from a friend who pointed out that I have a lot more choice about things than I perceive. I have had all kinds of medical problems in the past 5 years, including two types of cancer, heart disease, etc. I want to choose to be healthier.

My Goals:
Short term goal is to increase my activity level by going to yoga three times a week and walking 3 days a week.

Eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day.

Do the grocery shopping without getting angina.


My Program:
Concentrate on fruits and vegetables. Accept myself when I eat a high calorie food.

Yoga and walking for exercise.

Personal Information:
Happily married, living in northwest New Jersey. I have a son who recently got married and lives in upstate New York. My first grandchild is due in March 2012.


Other Information:
I am very active in my church, particularly with Altar Guild and the food pantry.

Hey, how are you doing? I thought I would check in here. I miss being more active here on the site. I've been riding my exercise bike every day, to get more in shape. It's either that or go clothes shopping! But I don't want to do that.

I looked at the team, and I don't see any benefit over regular SP program.

HI. I just started a Challenge that you are in--diabetes. I am not diagnosed, but have family and personal makers to tend to.

Check the T-Tapp SparkTeam. There is a lot about dropping blood sugar in simple ways in Theresa Tapp's exercises.
