I am a very strong willed 28 year old Christian woman who wants to be healthier, and thinner. I work part time at a hospital answering phones. I only work 16 hours a week so I can raise my daughters.

I have a very supportive husband (Jake). We have been married for 4 years as of August 6th. He is a Network Administrator and just got out of the Army Reserves. We met the day after he got home from a year deployment in Iraq. He doesn't ever complain about my weight but I'm sure he'd love it if I wasn't so shy about my body.

We currently have 2 Daughter's. Haylee, who is three. Where does the time fly? I love this age. She tries to workout with me and it's so cute. I love that I can set a good example for her. And Hannah, who was just born August 12th 2009. It is very demanding to have a newborn and a toddler.

We would like to have more children but I suffered two miscarriages in 2008. After many tests the doctors decided I have a blood clotting disorder which can lead to clots, miscarriage, a loss in Folic Acid and possible heart problems. I will have to take 1mg of folic acid for the rest of my life and 4mgs while trying to conceive. Then while pregnant I will have to give myself an injection of a blood thinner daily. The Doctor also suggested I lose some weight as that can help with fertility problems. Which is what brought me to SP!

Hannah was born after I found out about my clotting disorders, I had to do injections the whole pregnancy and it was hard but very worth it. I would still like to have another child, but we'll see.

You are fantastic at the whole guilt thing. Your kids must hate you. emoticon .

Just because of you, I did the 100's class, option 1. I managed to squeak out 30 JJ (modified at that). I figured it was better than nothing. I am having some knee issues so I thought it best to keep it to a minimium. I am starting to put 2 and 2 together and think it might be related to all the running I have been doing on the indoor track. I had this a little over the summer and it always seemed to be when I was on the track too. Never thought much about it as I didn't run there that often. However because of the cold weather, I am running on the track several times a week. Starting to affect me outside the track. Gonna put on the knee brace, take some ibuprofen for the next couple days and try to keep impact low.

Thanks again for the extra push!

Have a great Friday.

I forgot to ask you what is the little girl's first nam? I don't think it matters, but some may ask. God will know either way.

Thanks for the support. I used to be able to give myself a cheat day once a week and then get right back on track however over the last several months, I have fallen into a bad pattern of cheating on multiple days, usually back to back. I hope that now that I have a couple good weeks under my belt (and a supportive team) that I can handle having a cheat day every now and again. It truly is mind of matter. I just need to start holding myself accountable.

Thanks for the blog comment, Laura! It's interesting how big a difference eating habits and exercise affect energy levels!
