In October of 2011 I weighed in at 298 pounds. By April 2012 I weighed 215 pounds. I have since managed to put 10 pounds back on.

In June 2014 we have a major vacation to Disney World planned. My goal is to lose this last 75 pounds by the time we leave for our vacation. I want to be able to enjoy our vacation without being so self-conscious that all I can think about is what other people think of me. It will be summer and I want to be able to wear comfortable clothes rather than be trying to cover myself up so that I am not embarrassed by myself.

I know that if I can pull of such a drastic weight loss once, I can pull it off again and reach my final goal of 150 pounds. I only need to put my mind to the process again, like I did the first time. I already have the goal to work toward. I need to get into a routine and create some good habits again.

I'm not tracking my food. Control portions.

No fast food. Period!

Not soft drinks (soda, koolaid, sugar-filled juices, etc.) Lots of water!

Walk on the treadmill 5x per week.

Stay motivated!



Personal Information:
I have known my husband for 12 years; we have been together for 6 years and we have been married for 3 years.

I have 4 children - ages 17, 15, 12, and 10. My 17 year old seems to think that blessing me with a grandchild already is necessary - so we have a baby due October 24, 2013.

I am a full-time master's degree student at Liberty University. I am working on my Professional Counseling degree. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Christian Counseling in August 2012.
