Here's To A Lifestyle Change!!

Well, here's to a new beginning. I have all the excuses not to exercise and make a commitment to my health. Now it is time to make me top priority. I have two beautiful daughters that I need to be role models for. I want them to respect themselves and have self confidence. Time for me to show them what that is!

My Goals:
1. daily exercise, even if it just 20 minutes!
2. increase water intake
3. eat 5 small meals instead of three big ones.

My Program:
I need to get more serious and be committed!
Exercise:
1. Going to the gym alternating between strength exercises and cardio - 5x a week.
2. Yoga - aiming for 2x a week
Water:
Keeping a water bottle filled all day long.
Food:
Need to plan out my 5 meals so that each one is healthy. Again I need to be more serious. I really need to quit procrastinating!!

Just dropping by to thank you for the friend add. I noticed you're into Primal/Paleo. So, am I. I feel best when I'm eating primal clean. But, we've been moving, so I haven't been cooking as much as I normally do, so we've been eating some off plan foods, and my body hates me for me. emoticon So, I'm planning a new Whole30 starting May 4th, to get back to feeling my best. Good luck with your program. Please let me know what I can do to help support you on your journey.

Lynn, unfortunately I got my fitbit a couple of weeks before my stress fracture so only used it about two weeks ....however I really enjoyed the tracking features ( I have a desk job & sit all day) It helped gage calories in vs calories out....if you track food on SP it automatically goes to your fitbit account...i also bought the aria scale and it syncs to the site too.

Theres a wristband coming out soon that tracks sleep, too. I will upgrade to that once available in canada!!!

Bottom line- if you love gadgets as much as I do you would love it
