Time to get back to good eating habits!

If I can quit smoking, I can certainly lose the weight I have put on. I want to start healthier eating habits, too!

My Goals:
My immediate goal is to lose 10 lbs, but I would like to reach my ideal weight within one year. I also want to start a healthier diet. I have fallen into the dessert trap and often feel I should end my meal with some sweet (like cookies).

My Program:
I am going to start an exercise program and start watching my calories!

Personal Information:
I live in Wine Country (Napa County).

I have one son, now 30 years old and one cat, now 3 years old.

Oh yes...I also have an part-time TomCat. I don't know if he will be a Foster Pet or if I will fully adopt him. I am waiting to see how it works out with Babette and this new friend of ours!

Other Information:
i am currently listening to Wayne Dyer, Excuses Begone...a very good book.

I enjoy cooking and sharing recipes.

My hobbies are watercolor painting, knitting and crocheting.

It's good to see and meet you here on For People with Disabilities team.... Good luck on your goal(s) and I'm here if you need help on this site. Take care and talk to you soon. Stay focused and have a positive attitude will help. I'm here to keep you encouraged and to be supportive.

To STAY MOTIVATED I DO THIS ALL THE TIME:::
1) come in, read the posts, and do your postings
2) read, join any teams that you think you like, go to My Spark Points (click there) and spin the wheel, (that is where you go everyday to start with those points)
3) get it know the people and make new friendships
4) read some article.... (you make points reading these too)
5) make yourself to exercise like walking, jogging, or whatever you would like to
6) most of all :: have fun and enjoy yourself

If there is anything that I can do to help, give me a holler. If I do not know the answer, I will find it. Our leaders are really great and help when you need it too. So don't hesitate to ask. That is why we are here ...I'm a single Mom of 3 grown sons......

Remember to MAKE TIME to exercise, drink plenty of water, and make great food choices.
