5% Spring into Summer Challenge

I'm on team Daisy for the Spring into Summer 5% Challenge~ Go Team Daisy.

To reach the my personal goal of losing 5%, I'm going to do the following:

I will exercise daily for a minimum of 10 minutes for the 56 days of the challenge and do atleast one Daisy Do/Daisy Done a Day

I'm going to follow a low carb diet and stay within my calorie range

On my Team page I will record my daily exercise and Living the Good Life Points, and on Saturdays ...

Hello! I'm a long time Sparker (I joined in 2009) but didn't get serious until August 2012. I love how this program has helped me improve my health.

I live in North St. Louis County, I'm a RN working for an insurance company. I am an avid sports fan and LOVE my Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals.

I'm looking forward to 2013 and continuing on this my Spark Journey!

Thanks Lynn for checking on on me when I was away working. I have blogged about my time away! I was amazed that I was in second place on the challenge last week! IT was the boost that I needed :) I have now posted all my points for when I was away :)

Hi Lynn,
It's so nice of you to stop by my page! I'm currently going through a very busy time job-wise, I am a self employed accountant working from home, I have been working 18 hour days for the last few weeks (still have another month + to go) trying to meet deadlines and, much as I try both my sparking and my exercise have suffered and, in fact it makes me feel rather guilty in that I may be letting the daisies down! I haven't even managed to post daily, like I usually do.....Your comment was very refreshing and encouraging to me. THANK YOU my friend!
