I have recently found out that some of the medication I take for fibromyalgia can people from losing weight so I am determined with the Lord's help and strength to defeat this statement. Today I start again to resist the temptations. I Corinthians 10:13 There is no temptation given you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 32 lbs. and be able to wear a 6 petite in anything so my shoulders fit, etc. My bigger desire is to prevent diabetes and osteoporosis and to keep as fit as possible.

My Program:
I am using the South Beach Diet with the Petite Advantage calorie counts.
I am doing weights and cardio 3 days a week. I am doing cardio and Pilates 3 days a week. Beginning this week I plan on doing cardio on the 7th day too!

Personal Information:
I was born in MN and lived in several other states but am happy to be back home.

Other Information:
My favorite book is the Bible. I was saved when reading the book of Matthew in 1971. I am thankful that the Lord's mercies are new everyday.

I see you're following the Mayo Clinic diet. I think they have the best website going, for health maintenance as well as general information.

I love the 7' tall comment. Yeah, I'm not fat, just four inches too short! LOL

Seems like I have spent a lot of time tracking food, eating less and exercising from 10 to 120 min a day. I sometimes lose 1/2 lb a week. Sometimes I gain a little. I got a new scale a couple weeks ago and it measures in 10th pound. It doesn't let me cheat by tipping to one corner of the scale emoticon
So now that I am painfully honest, it seems slower. I am thinking about a leptin reset. You have to eat 50 grams of protein within 30 min of getting up, no snacking, three meals or two if you are not hungry. No exercise, 6-8 weeks. Would take a lot of planning to consume that much protein each morning. Well, thinking about it.
