Blessed with another beautiful day!

Trying to balance some health issues with the responsibility of looking out for others can be a challenge. I try to meet those challenges each day in a positive way. Spark people and my Spark friends are a tremendous help on this journey!

I began this Spark journey in earnest in January 2011 when a serious accident landed me in a wheelchair. I was out of work for 6 months, and I discovered the joys of Spark People on a daily basis.

Other Information:
I love to spend time with my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters

Work is slow going. It's tough going from a situation where you knew everything so well to starting all over again. Even though they are both cafe/coffee shops they are very different in many ways....drink recipes...cash register/handling/...company policy etc....you know the drill. It is humbling to start at zero again and move your way up. I have faith that it will work out....of course it will never be in my time frame though! emoticon

Thanks for the goodie...I appreciate your thoughts...Jane

You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage--pleasantly, smilingly, non-apologetically--to say 'no' to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside." — Stephen R. Covey

She probably had no idea how awful her garaden was going to look when I was finished... hostas cut in half, holes where Solomon's seal, forget-me-nots and sedum had been... her rhubarb decimated! Dana isn't a gardener, and I think she was glad to get rid of some of it.

I had fun, and we got it finished just before the rain started.

Thanks for the Spark Goodie, Evelyn. Marriage is definitely worth all the hard work. I am truly blessed to have Peter. Glad that you were able to get some time for yourself today. Take are,
Gail
