Life is beautiful-its a journey with ups and downs.Through the years I have struggled to maintain a healthy weight-I would loose weight and then gain it again, plus some.At my heaviest I was 110kg- 243pounds.I would like to be finally happy with myself,be healthy,be proud,be strong.This is the time to live the life I want to live. I have previously gone to weight 67kg -147pounds with a combination of exercise and healthy eating.Unfortunately I rushed the process of loosing weight and despite being transformed from the outside-the inside was still craving all the bad things.So when I got pregnant I let all the excuses to take over me and stopped working out completely and just let it all pile up. For the past 18 months I have yo-yoed between 90kg and 85kg but struggled to maintain exercise and food regime.At this point in my life I understand that losing weight is not the issue- leaving healthy and being active all your life is the real deal.I have a wonderful husband that is very active and I want us to be a healthy family.I want to see my daughter smile at me in 5 years and say yes this is my fit mommy! I want a bikini shot on a holiday-a real one, not just one in my dreams.I want to wear sleeveless T-shirts without shame and without covering myself with piles of clothes.I believe I am in the right place.All I need is the right support. My Goals:
My goals: To work out 5 times a week. To eat sensibly. To be 67kg by 02/May/2012 To run a marathon/5-10km in 2012 To maintain my weight loss. To be standing proud at my university graduation day-Aug 2013
My Program:
A combo of cardio and weight training. We have fitness equipment home- a treadmill and few other stuff. Even 30 min a day to start-will make a difference. A sensible healthy eating plan is also on my program. No diets!They don't work for life.Only for couple of weeks.
