All diabetics have one main enemy and thats Carbs because carbs change into glucose in your body. Before I found out I was a diabetic I never even thought about how many carbs I was eating. When I found out I was a diabetic my blood sugar was at 385 and my A1C was 10.9 the doctor was shocked that I hadn't has a stoke seeing as how I only weight 145 pounds. I have since started to watch what and how much I eat I have set a goal of only having a total daily carb intake of 300. I've also started ...
I've also started keeping track of my daily carb intake. Now that I've started keeping track of my daily carb intake I have found that my blood sugar readings have stabilized between 95 and 130. I have also found that my readings in the morning are higher then my readings at night. This is due to the fact that your liver releases glucose into your blood stream a couple of hours before you wake up. I've also started getting back into exercising three to four days a week. I have also found that my energy level seems to be higher which is good since I have to keep up with our 3 year old son and our 4 year old daughter. Never give up on your goal just because of the time it will take to achieve it. And always remember that failure is only a state of mind and success is a state of being.

Thanks for commenting on my blog yesterday! I see you are diabetic. I am pre-diabetic which is why this weight loss and exercise thing is so imnportnat for me. I have to get on the stick with this but finding it very difficult. My blood sugar was 111 last time them checked so I still have time to get it down and not head into the diabetic categoy.
