Hi!! I am a nifty 59 year old, overweight and out of shape. I am ready to get fit and skinny!

I don't blog or jog, and I don't have links to friends on my page.. but I am a fun loving, down to earth, no nonsense kind of person., I have 50 pounds to lose and I am here to get on with the Spark program!

I have, in the past, lost weight by pounding the pavement, walking 5-6 miles a day. I loved the euphoria you get from the exercise, just like a runners HIGH! By watching what I eat, measuring my portions and walking, I lost 30 pounds!!

Sadly, due to injury, then laziness and depression, I gained all the weight back after getting planters fascists and bunions. This is what kept me from my exercise of walking at least 4 miles daily. Those problems were nothing compared to being sidelined by the debilitating depression caused by menopause.

Now I am over the hump of menopause! Yay!! I plan on exercising and getting fit again. I am so out of shape, it will take awhile, but I am determined to lose that 50+ pounds and maybe more!

My Goals:
I want to lose 50+ pounds and get in better physical shape. Right now it is difficult go up stairs let alone to get up off the floor.
