Hi, I'm a 60 year old dieter. I've been gaining and losing the same pounds for the last 20 years. In the past I walked 6 miles a day, and had great success with my weight loss, until I had a bad fall. Hi, I'm a 60 year old dieter. I've been gaining and losing the same pounds for the last 20 years. In the past I walked 6 miles a day, and had great success with my weight loss, until I had a bad fall. I tripped on an uneven sidewalk, suffered a concussion, sprained fingers and pulled muscles in my abdomen. It wasn't my first fall, I'd had several over the years, sadly my family and I decided it wasn't safe for me to tread the sidewalks in my city anymore. I gave up walking rather than switching to a treadmill, I had tried the treadmill in the past, it just wasn't the same mental high I'd get from outdoor walking.
Recently had a severe ankle sprain, that had me sitting on the couch for months waiting for it to heal. During that time, I realized just how out of shape I really was, I vowed to myself that once I healed enough I would get myself back into shape. I don't have to be thin or look like a movie star, I want become proud of the shape that I am in. I got myself a treadmill and right off the bat, I've started interval walk/jogging on it. It has been the best thing for my ankle and my need for exercise! I think I am on the road to success!

My Goals:
I want to lose 50+ pounds and get in better physical shape. Right now it is difficult go up stairs let alone to get up off the floor.
