My name is Amy and I am 29 years old. I have tried SP before and lost 31 pounds. For reasons I can't remember now, I stopped the healthy lifestyle I adapted to and gained the weight back plus some. I can't take it anymore. I'm tired of being the fat girl and feeling terrible about myself. I need to change.

I've been reading some success stories for people who have lost over 100 pounds and it got me thinking. If they can do it, why can't I? I now realize that I can do it. It won't be easy and I know I will need help from others out there that can motivate me. All I know is that right now for me, giving up is not an option.

I am keeping my old goals on here to prove to myself that when I put my mind to it I can achieve. I want to lose those pounds I lost before but this time keep on going and don't stop.

Short Term Goal Set on 3/9/08 to lose 15 lbs:
Met on 3/28/08

2nd Short Term Goal set on 3/28/08 to lose 15 lbs:
Met goal! 4/25/08

3rd Short Term Goal set on 4/25/08 to lose 15 lbs:
14 lbs to go!

Update 2/7/13

I have written down a schedule for workouts since I have been having a problem with boredom. I have found 6 different exercises I like doing and put it on the schedule so I won't be doing the same thing two days in a row.

Update 2/11/13

After reading The Spark I decided to do the 28 day program. As a result, I am finally setting up some rewards. My daughter helped me pick them and I posted it under other info here on my SparkPage.

Update 4/24/13

I am still doing well on my journey. I have passed the 31 lbs lost from the last time and have lost 37 lbs so far. I can't remember when was the last time I weighed 258 lbs. I still have my reward system set up and my new short term goal is to weigh 220 lbs by my 30th birthday on July 18, 2013. I believe I can do it.

My Goals:
My goal is to be at a healthy weight for my height. I'm aiming between 150-160 lbs.

I want to weigh 220 lbs by my 30th birthday on 7/18/13. *228 lbs*

I want to reach my 220 lb goal by 8/31/13.

I also want to eliminate fast food, sweets, soda and processed foods.

Get 8 hrs of sleep a night.

Drink 8+ glasses of water daily.

6+ servings of Freggies daily.

Have at least 1 veggie with every meal, especially at breakfast.

5,000+ steps daily.

My Program:
I am following Jillian Michaels recommendation of 1200 calories a day.

I am doing a combination of workouts on different days to combat my problem of boredom.

Wear a HRM/Pedometer 24/7

Personal Information:
I'm 29 years old and live with my fiance and our 6 year old daughter. We have two cats Hoppy (girl) & Fergie (boy) and a fish named Bubble.

Other Information:
I love to read, cook, bake and do crafts.
