Born to be slim

I put on 45 lbs after retirement due to a change in lifestyle paired with an accident which left me with a very painful ankle and a bout of depression.
I wish to return to my previous weight of 140. I am 68 years old and 5'3''. I would welcome any support . Every time I mention my desire to loose weight to my friends or family, I get long winded lectures on what I should or shouldn't do and it bears me down instead of inspiring me .

My Program:
I control my food intake very well, but have noticed that I am very ignorant about high cholesterol.
Walking is my choice of activity as well as gardening

Personal Information:
I am born in France , came to Canada in1966.

Other Information:
I paint , reads a lot and travel whenever I have the opportunity. Married for 43 years , with 2 grown up children.

Amazing how hubby always seems to find that special annoyance button.
If now we could harness that skill for something good we'd be unstoppable.
I'm glad you have a good support partner in your husband. Hopefully mine will come around.

Welcome to the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team! We are happy to have you with our team. Please feel free to introduce yourself to the team, if you have not already done so. Be sure to read the thread: "Click Here: To help find a partner and learn what to do next". It will help you find someone who has similar goals, likes, dislikes, or someone close to your age if you prefer. You will both be able to support, encourage, and just be there for each other, while on your way in reaching your goals.

If you need help finding someone or help of any kind, please let me know, as I am here to help you in anyway I can. Hope you enjoy our team and are able to achieve your goals on this team or any others you might join. Have a great day!!

I have too many gardens now too and we are seriously thinking of another one - a fairly large one so it'll have to be full of low maintenance plants! There are so many varieties of things.
