Welcome to my show.......!

My name is Jan and I am a 51 year old wife and mom. My girls are 22 and 26. My husband is my best friend and we work and have fun together every day. I live in northern california. I love my dog, Stitch, more than anyone (I am only kind of joking on that one).

I have basically been over weight since my early 20's with 5 or 10 pounds adding up each year until I didnt want to be fat anymore. I joined here in March of 2010. I lost 70 pounds, then gained some back but I never quit. My goal is to get back to that 70 pound loss and BEYOND!

I have gathered so much support from everyone here and from my family, and it helps me every day. I didn't know how fun it could be to lose weight and live my life. My goal is to lose over 100 pounds and I know I can do it. Thank you for reading this and helping me on my way!

I like to laugh and I like to have fun. Life is too short not to! I want to make the most of my life and losing weight has helped me do that.

I fight to find a cure for Crohn's disease that has impacted my youngest daughter's life dramatically.

Valentine’s Day may be all about hearts, flowers and candy but that’s going to change. I declare February to be about “self-love” which means taking care of YOU, watching what you eat, exercising regularly and becoming the best YOU possible.

W-a-i-t a minute, dudette! If you "think" you're kickin' me off your tour, you have another "think" comin'! Wild horses couldn't keep me from that tour.

It's true: I'm on a road trip & then have 3 months of serious eating challenges, but I'm on the Jan-team, so I have Jan Power --which I've never had before! No sweat...oops...make that: LOTS of sweat! Sweat is the new skinny! We're doin' it. Period.

Today was Day 22 of no diet soda, no chocolate & no (or very, very limited bread) & minimum of 30 min. exercise. Tomorrow is Day 23 --- Let's GO, GIRL!
