I'm a Christian mom to eight children. Over the years, I've allowed stress and anxiety to lead me to comfort eating; a nasty habit that's sent my weight soaring 70 lbs in the last seven years.

March 2013 - lost 9 lbs
April 2013 - lost 7 lbs (total 16 lbs)

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to maintain my weight between 135-140.

Lower total cholesterol to less than 200.
ACHIEVED July 2013

Increase HDL to above 40.
follow up in Jan. 2014

goal #1: 190
achieved 4.6.13

goal #2: 180 lbs (10%)
achieved 5.10.13

goal #3: 170 -last prepreg weight in 2010
achieved 6.14.13

goal #4: 160 lbs (20%)

final goal: 150 lbs or less

My Program:
Record food intake daily.

Keep daily calories to less than 1550; with the occasional exception.

Keep total daily cholesterol intake to less than 200 mg. Keep total daily saturated fat to less than 12g, and total fat to less than 52g. Using the Cholesterol Down nutrition plan as my guide.

Increasing cardio to 30 mins, 7x a week. Strength training 3x weekly.

I'm SO happy to 'meet' you! I also have 8 children. AND I'm also 5'1 and started my weight loss journey @ 189#'s! TOTALLY by God's rich grace, I'm at 128#'s now, and have basically been within my maintenance range for almost 7 months.
