Yes this is me and my beautiful Grandbaby. 8/08/2008
My son holding his first daughter 8/08/2008
Hi, my name is Carol, I live in Sacramento. I have become a grandmother to two wonderful grand kids.
I am 71 (9/03/45). My many hobbies are reading (see paperbackswap.com), relaxing with colors, walking and cooking.
I first started with sparkpeople in 2007, because of the responsibility for caring for my Mom (83) I was unable to loose lbs. but, I did not gain.
I have moved back to Sacramento and am finally buckling down to doing what is good for my life.
Things have gotten harder because I have osteoarthritis in both knees, I use a cane and can't walk as much as I want but, this is where I am focusing my goals now..
I want to be a healthy grandmather.
I track all my food and use the plans, exercise, I drink 8+ glasses of water a day.
I was born in Southern California (1945), got married (1976), had one wonderful son (1981), and moved to Sacramento in 1988.
I have worked in Hollywood, for a brokerage company, for a data processing company, and now I an disabled but I keep busy doing coloring. This winter (2016-17) has been hard for me due to osteoarthritis, but taking it one step at a time, I keep on keeping on!
I am an avid reader and a very active member of paperbackswapswap.com. For Christmas I received a KINDLE E-Reader.

Welcome to our Classy 70s Team. I'm now enjoying my great-grandkids. It's such a blessing to live to this time of our lies....and to live in this time.

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.
We are here for you! We'll help you climb that mountain. You'll find us on the rocky slopes, the cool, shady valleys, the wild flower meadows, the glacier lakes.
