Hey, Mandie ! We didn't get snow-mageddon, but it was still a pretty bad storm. I ended up shoveling for 90 minutes, my brother about the same. so between the two of us, it took three hours to clear the driveway.
I didn't want to wait. When I got out, the snow had already started to turn to sleet. after about 15-20minutes it turned to rain. So, had to move to get the rest of the driveway cleaned off. I'll be achy in the morning, but worth it to have a clear driveway. If we had waited til the morning to shovel, it would have turned to ice. no way am I hacking through ice at 6am.
We got about 6-8 inches of wet heavy snow. Parts north and west of the city got 12-18 inches. a couple of spots might have hit 2 ft. the closer you were to the city, the more rain you got.
