Following an accident last summer I have lost confidence and gained a lot of weight. Still in pain but I need to increase my fitness levels if I'm ever going to get out of this rut. My job is very demanding and I need to reclaim some personal time. I can't please all of the people all of the time!
Walk my dog that little bit further each day.
Be careful with portion sizes.
Drink more water.
Increase my 'me time' quota.
Say no to people who distract me from what's important.
I need to stop and appreciate what I have more often
Good to hear from you. Definitely a bright golden haze on the meadow today - the "big show" opens tonight - sold out all 4 performances. Adding to the excitement are the renovation to the "west wing" (new kitchen at last!) plus beginning practices for a Christmas cantata in Dec. Just can't stop singing! Although I did decide to take a break from the dinner theatre choir this year. Am keeping on track, not losing as fast as hoped, but losing. Still have a way to go to catch up with you!
I haven't heard of Sudocreme here. I used the Oil of Olay and the itching and burning stopped. Thanks for the recommendation though.
I don't mind the rain. I don't like a driving wind. My hair blows into my eyes and gets caught between my face and glasses. When it is cold, the wind makes it chill my bones.
We usually have what I call the fall rains where the weather turns from hot to cool and you need the furnace on in the mornings. This house is well insulated so we are able to keep heating costs down by using a wood stove in our basement to heat it.
Hubby said he likes to get his money's worth on haircuts. He might get 3 haircuts a year, I get mine done twice a year. It is gray going white. I told the hairdresser, he was just a cheapskate and he told me to be quiet.
