I'm presently trying to lose 28 pounds to get down to 210 from 238. I'm setting my milestones as follows: 228 - 10 pounds lost. 223 - The last time I was this weight was about 15 years ago. 217 - The last time I was this weight was about 18 years ago.
I am on an alternate day fasting diet.
I'm 53 years old and married with two children. One is in college and the other one is 11 years old.
I've been a vegetarian for 30 years now. I primarily won't eat anything that needed to be killed in order to be eaten. So this also rules out fish, but I never really liked fish anyway. I do eat a lot of dairy products and I'm sure that I eat products that include eggs in them (for example, cake). I am trying to cut back on my dairy consumption now by drastically cutting back on sliced cheese, pizza and ice cream.
