Thanks for adding me as a friend. Wonderful that you are in the Lansing area too. I have been active on spark but all the time I spend has been on tracking my food. I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes and have been measuring all food, cutting carbs drastically and that has taken all my time. It is finally getting easier and I am trying to connect with more people.

Back when diagnosis was given I started water aerobics, but need more physical exercise too. I sometimes get by 10000 steps in a day but not always. Hoping to increase my steps, I see you reach great numbers with yours. You are inspiring!

Thank you for the supportive comment on my blog!! I appreciate your sharing about the vegetables. I'm going to try to eat a more defined lunch instead of just grabbing here and there all afternoon. I'm also going to make sure my lunch is more vegetable based (is there a better time of year for that than right now?).

I do not know my ratio of lean to fat and I do know I am more muscular now than I've ever been. Still, I also know that I can't deny those blood sugar numbers and I know I can do better. I just have to make up my mind to do that and I can, I will. I'm an O'Matter and we can do whatever we set our minds too.

I am proud to say I have achieved 14/15 on track days so far this month. I've managed the last four days on track and they've been four of my most challenging care giving days yet.

My body feels so relaxed after yoga. I am doing Hatha Yoga in which we do individual poses. I had previously done Vinyasa which does sequences of poses. I probably didn't like that because I had trouble remembering the steps. This is much slower and I feel like I stretch deeply.

My sister does Gentle Yoga and has the same reaction as I do with my class.

Let me now if you try it and what you think of it.
