Thanks for the shoes! Though I must admit I haven't really been logging too many miles this past week. It got frigid here very suddenly and I got a seasonal shift so far 3 day headache out of it along with some mood issues since I am not ready for this weather. boo hoo...LOL but I am NOT going to let this be the theme for this season so.....off I go for a walk!
Snowing here this morning and I am holding onto that "childlike wonder" looking at the pretty big snowflakes for what they are...today...and not thinking "groan" about the dark long days, weeks months ahead. LOL It is pretty and maybe I should go out and play in it! LOL Have a great day!
Thanks for the kind words and prayers for Raiden. You know, there are so many people going through all sorts of really difficult things but like you said, thinking of a 3 y.o. hving to face all of this and at the end so much uncertainty besides. (70% chance overall if he makes it through each step along the way) Well, it breaks your heart. What fills our hearts though is how so many people have extended heartfelt wishes. As my nephew, Raiden's grandpa, said recently, he had pretty much decided humankind was pretty base and then with this happening, it has allowed a view into the other side of humanity and restored the feeling that most people are really good and it's just that the news seems to highlight the bad. Anyway, the kids frequently post things on facebook. I had really not used facebook but this is a great use of it. One thing about children is that they go on living the life they've got. Seeing this little bald guy trick or treating in the halls of the hot unit was priceless and the giggles when he's having a nerf war with his grandpa...well, we all need to live the way children do I think. Thanks again for being a friend.
