Hey everyone! I'm a 37 year old married mom of 2 great (sometimes crazy) kids. I started out my weight loss journey at 275 pounds in October 2010 and am down to 259 pounds as of December 11th. My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to reach 130 pounds. My overall goal is to achieve a healthier lifestyle so that I can enjoy life with my family.

My Program:
I'm doing my own version of South Beach because my body just does not do well with bread and potatoes...although man do I love that stuff!

Geneen Roth's book "Women, Food & God" was a huge eye opener for me. I saw myself on every page!

I'm using PGX, which I have found to be a HUGE help in controlling cravings....especially those late night munchies!

Personal Information:
My name is Tania and I live in London, Ontario Canada. I'm a special education teacher and I also have my own business. Life is stressful and I'm learning to not use food as my therapist!

Women Food and God was an amazing book. It was the first time that I thought that maybe, just maybe, beating myself up wasn't helping me in my weight loss efforts. I have not done the worksheets on Oprah's page but I'm going to check them out this weekend, hopefully.
Also, GREAT job on your weight loss!! I just read your page, inspiring.

I will put in a request for the book at my library. :) I'll do aaaanything to keep on track and not fail this time. I have to prove to myself I'm capable of actually sticking to this and loving myself enough. So glad we're new friends!!
