Once you give up sugar, everything changes. Your energy, your cravings (gone) I'm getting close to 70 days. And the best thing it does is help drop those glucose numbers, and the weight slathers off. But you must give up ALL sugars, basic white, any processed ones, definitely no fructose, cane sugar, and any facsimiles. I don't eat fruit high in sugar as well.
I'm basically on a low carb plan. I eventually want to make it an all plant based low carb. And I cannot tell you how well it's done for me. emoticon

I wish I had been given the opportunity to know if I were pre diabetic. I didn't do the blood work until too late. I procrastinated, not that excited about needles in any form (now doing glucose testing, teeny needle, but needle just the same)
I am glad to see more people plant based. When I get where I want to be in my glucose/A1C and it's stable, I am going to look into Low Carb vegetarian/vegan One thing when you love the critters as much as I do, it kills me to think of what I may or who I may be eating. I cannot tolerate chicken or turkey at this time. I do eat pork (all I need is my own piglet to change that! lol) and some red meat, which I hadn't eaten for over many years. So soon will work on eliminating meat entirely. It's not an overnite process, I was told by a Vegan to start with eliminating one meat at a time. I am not sure about eggs yet, now that I know they really don't affect your cholesterol. Will see. emoticon

Hi Mar, i hope your pets are doing okay. My shadow cat is much better. Hopefully the weather will get better. The storms are starting here. Will be going to see the grandkids in a couple weeks. I can't wait.
