The wall paper on this page is my weight loss statistics from the time that I set up my SparkPeople account. I'm not as big of a math geek as the wallpaper and the page title imply. They are a bit of not-so-subtle self-loathing that I've been on SP for 4 years and have done what lots of people do--lost some weight and then regained it when life got hurried or hard or when eating pizza seemed easier and more fun than making meals at home.

The time commitment to change the behaviors and take the time to track them is my downfall

March 2013--9 months and 68 pounds to go
January 2013--12 months and 75 pounds to go
September 2012--In the last two years my BP has risen, so I'm inspired to exercise and to lose weight. My 50th birthday is December 20, 2013. Fifteen months is enough time to make slow steady progress on losing 100 pounds. I just have to pay attention and keep on keepin' on.

    Thanks for the encouragement. I won't be home for another 2 weeks. I definitely am going to start cooking at home. I try to stick with salads and such on the road. I admit I do go off plan a lot. I bought me a calendar and I record every bite. And I color code it for good, fair, and bad days. It's too time consuming right now to use the SP nutritional tracker, especially since I eat out a lot. But when I get home, I plan to take the time to start. Thanks for sharing your trackers. You motivate me to do better on my eating.
