Clean slate. Erasing my former comments, except to say this:
Started on Sparks back in January 2009. I gave up and did not give this site a chance that year.
I tried again January 2010- this time, I gave it a chance and made myself a priority. I enlisted the help of a personal trainer, I used sparks and all its tools and people to get me from 172lbs which I weighed in late 2009, to as low as 151 in November 2010.

I pretty much maintained for 2011- but slowly weight started to creep back on as I challenged myself to run two marathons.

I ran the Boston Marathon in April 2011- 4:03:42- after not running a marathon in 13 yrs. The only reason I came back to attempt this? Wanted to break four hours. So I set the bar again for myself and ran a second marathon in October 2011-3:54:21! YAY! Unfortunately through the training, through a hamstring injury my weight has quielty crept up- I am now hovering around 160-164 lbs and I am not happy with this.

Goals for 2012:
Weight- 145-155
Hopefully back into size 6
body fat- under 20%

I am tracking, I have hired a trainer again for this year, and I am ready. I am here as a supporter of anyone who needs it. Its time to fight the fight.

Let's do this.

So I pulled up my race results from yesterday, just to see what my "official" (read: SLOW) time was...and of course I always check to see what pace the top female runner made.

Lo and behold, it was you! Congrats! Nice job. It was quite the nice day for a run, wasn't it? :) I'd never run that course before (despite living 2 miles away) and I think I like it!

Nice! I'm running Baystate half this year. Not at any speed close to what you guys run! :) But it's where I train, so it'll be fun.

We took the day off work so we'll head in on Tuesday after lunch as well. We have 6 (maybe 5...) runners - the guys and the seeing-eye dog are doing the 5K and the ladies are doing the 10k. :) It'll be a fun time - it's the first organized 10K my running partner has ever done (we did do 6 miles this morning, though, and I'm confident she's going to do great!)

I'm running the 10k at Gilette too! I'm so excited! Even if it is going to be a bit warm for running. We have the whole day set aside to hang at the expo and whatnot. :)
