To Live to 120 (or die trying)

My former goal was to be more fit and agile at 80 than I was at 77, so I could book another weekend trip on the schooner Brilliant of Mystic. I'm 80 now and at least I'm no worse than I was at 77.

I'm not much less than I was at 40, which wasn't much as I was never athletic though always moderately active. I'm a few inches shorter (because of spinal disk compression) and my weight is still OK for my height. I walk a little slower, climb almost as many stairs and can still lift the ...

My goal now is to stay alive and kicking as long as I can.

My Goals:
Gain a little muscle, lose a little belly fat, without changing my total weight.

My Program:
I hate exercise, so I do things that are as close to an exercise pill as I can get. I lift weights 3 times a week, do a Tabata set 3 other times a week and sometimes do physical work around the yard.

Thanks for commenting on my Spark Page and informing me about the Vitamin C in red peppers. We spend the winters (6 mos.) in FL and get lots of red peppers at great prices. My husband and I split one huge red pepper for lunch to eat raw. I suppose cooking them destroys the Vitamin C but we also cook them.

Do you really think reconstituted orange juice contains the most Vitamin C? I never heard that before. I am assuming you buy frozen OJ and add water.
We are in FL all winter and make our own OJ, even freeze some to carry home with us.
But I understand that all frozen OJ is imported from other countries and we try to buy US foods. Let me know what you know about this!
