My healthier ME journey

I am a 56 years old and live in the northern tip of NH. My goals have changed a lot lately. I recently fit into my first pair of size 14 jeans and I like what I am seeing. But I am also learning to like the person on the inside. She is someone that I want to get to know.

I also have goals that aren't weight, exercise or nutrition related with is totally new for me. I have discovered hiking and I love it.
My goals for this summer are:
1 Be able to walk a 5K again ...

My goals for this summer are:
1 Be able to walk a 5K again by the end of the summer.

2. Go kayaking at least once this summer.

3. Go hiking again with my friend Mary at least once this summer.

1. I will stay within my calorie range of 1320 (or slightly less)-1670 calories a day.

2. I will log everything I eat (good or bad). I will also strive to increase my fiber intake.

3. I will do 30 minutes of cardio on good days and no more than15 minutes on not so good days - 6 days a week-no excuses. Anything extra is a bonus!

4. I will strength train a minimum of 3 times a week-no excuses.

5. I will work to improve my mobility issues and become stronger along the way.

6. I will track my fitness on a daily basis.

7. I will make every effort to reach my 5% goal
.
8. I blog at least 2 times a week.

10. I will post these goals in a place where I can see them on a daily basis.

11. I will weigh-in weekly.

My Goals:
1. Learn to see the person hiding inside!

2. To reach my goal weight of 160 pounds. I will see how I feel when I reach that weight about going further.

3. Fit into a size 12 (or smaller) jeans .

4. Swim 10 laps with ease.

5. Complete the Spring 5% Challenge and lose 5% of my body weight.

My Program:
I have started tracking all the food I eat each day. Quite an eye opener let me tell you.

I joined the local gym and will begin circuit training there. I will also do weight training and use the lap pool on alternating days.

We are sooo delighted to inform you Maryann,,, that ur Dawggie DIAPERS HAVE ARRIVED!

Now there will be NO heavy bladder inthe AM,, No worry when one has one of "Those peeing " Dreams..... as Dawggies,, we take SLEEP very seriouly.

Plz pass some along the other Leaders,,, and have them distribute them to the entire team.
