Easter Egg Hunting at my heaviest weight of 205lbs. It's a brutal photo of me trying to fit into jeans way to small but, it's a wake up call.

My track to a healthier life...
I am a 21 year old college student, who is currently engaged. My whole family is obese, I swear by genetics. My mother lost TONS of weight and tried but couldn't loose anymore. Her large amount of weight loss really did give me motivation. I am going to school for Law Enforcement so I really need to be in shape. I joined spark people for the second time last year, and since then I've been on track and feeling great. I've been trying to loose weight for some time, but not until the ...

Her large amount of weight loss really did give me motivation. I am going to school for Law Enforcement so I really need to be in shape. I joined spark people for the second time last year, and since then I've been on track and feeling great. I've been trying to loose weight for some time, but not until the last few months did I finally get the formula down to what I need to do to loose weight in a healthy way. Since I joined I started running again. At first, I couldn't run 100 yards without stopping to walk. Since then, I have run four 5k races this past summer. This coming summer I plan on running more, along with maybe a 10k and a triathlon!

My Goals:
I am hoping to loose 50+ lbs of weight, get in shape and run a half marathon one day.
My Program:
I am running and lifting weights five times a week. I am also watching my calories, cooking almost all my meals and eating healthier choices. So far it's been working great, and even though I haven't lost much, I feel better than ever!
Personal Information:
I am a college student going for Criminal Justice, I want to be in shape and loose some weight because I want to be better at my job and be able to keep up with my peers.
