Not just thin, healthy too!

Many folks ask how I shed half of my body weight in 2000, dropping from 240 to 120 lbs. The key to my 120 lb. weight loss has been slowly building healthy habits into my daily life, and adopting a plant based diet.

I also educate myself by researching the latest information on healthy living. I incorporate ideas that work with my lifestyle like wearing a Fitbit to ensure that I make my 10 flights of stairs and 10k daily step goals. I chuck those that don't work for me such as no ...

I also educate myself by researching the latest information on healthy living. I incorporate ideas that work with my lifestyle like wearing a Fitbit to ensure that I make my 10 flights of stairs and 10k daily step goals. I chuck those that don't work for me such as no eating after 7 p.m.

I strive to take at least one healthier step forward each day than back; slow and steady wins the race!

Love what you have accomplished. It certainly is inspiring to see your success and have you share your actions that took you there. Beginning with choices. Very powerful. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, Matcha
I have recently started doing about the same thing as you. Research and figure out what works best for me. Not sticking to one diet group per say. When people ask me what diet I have been using to lose weight I tell them that I haven't started dieting, I started making life style changes. Such as I can live without that second plate of food or I don't have to eat the food I'm served in a restaurant. I made life style changes and I did start adding exercise into the days when I could. Some days it might only be a twenty minute walk and others it might be a P90x workout. All I know is something is better than nothing. I started finally making changes at the beginning of August and I have already lost 20lbs! Just from life style changes!
