Cautiously optimistic

I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. Sometimes I am amazed that I keep trying and trying and I don't give up. In the past I have always tried to go at it by myself. Now I have already seen how helpful the SP community is. I have a teenage daughter and I want to be a role model for her by taking care of myself.

Jurassic Park 4 is coming out in June. You should watch the first one at least...such a great movie. That is if you like scary dinosaur movies! I really love the CGI graphics and seeing the dinosaurs looking so real!! Hope you had a nice weekend! Hope you did some fun activity! emoticon emoticon

Been there done that. In the beginning I just ate what I wanted for a couple weeks just to be shocked by the calories I counted of all of it! It was a wake up call. So then I started cutting out the obvious bad foods and bit by bit, after months of trying was able to stop eating most of them as a rule. I have never given up any food really, I just learned to add them in once in a while. Maybe that is why I haven't lost all my weight by now. So, now I have to work on that...buying lots of fresh foods this week and cooking more healthy foods. You have to be ready to do it and want to do it or it will not work. Everyday something will trigger something in you to eat bad or not exercise and even if it does...just make the next day better. The thing is to never give up-- no matter happens! It isn't easy, but it can be done! SP helps and by being here again, you are showing you are serious and trying to make it work. Hang in there! emoticon And I am glad to help!! Thank you for the nice compliment!! emoticon emoticon
