I am competing as a team member with a great group of women. Our program is called Dare to Lose! There are some similarities to the biggest loser. We meet twice a week for 1 1/2 hours with our trainers, have challenges and weigh ins and are responsible for watching or food intake and exercising at least 2 more times a week. My Program:
The dare to lose program runs for 8 weeks at a time. We are starting on week four now. We train with a exercise physiologist on two days a week for 1 1/2 hours. Weights, cardio, snd core strength. On one of those days we will have a challenge with the gray team. We are responsible to exercise on our own and watch our food intake.

Personal Information:
I live in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes region. A beautiful area with hills, lakes, waterfalls, farms, vineyards and quaint small towns. We also have many colleges and universities in the area.

Other Information:
Some of my interests include photography, painting, reading, bird watching, gardening and taking classes at our senior citizen center.

Thank you very much for commenting on my blog!!! Hubby's can very easily sabotage our healthy efforts very easily.....especially after so many attempts...I would say I am going to loose weight and then two days later suggest we just go through the drive through for supper. I did that for years!!! Now that I have turned over a new leaf, it is most hardest for the people the closest to me to understand. Yep it will take time!!

I loved that you had the courage to ask your hubby why he kept sabotaging your efforts!!! My hubby is usually very supportive of anything I do.....but if it keeps up I might have to take your suggestions and ask the same. I don't think he even thinks or sees it that way at the moment...it's all new to him still...but I am on day 44 now and feeling fantastic! :)
