There is a lot of positive support from both the participants, trainers and other fitness center members. We are working hard at getting fit and losing weight.

My Program:
The dare to lose program runs for 8 weeks at a time. We are starting on week four now. We train with a exercise physiologist on two days a week for 1 1/2 hours. Weights, cardio, snd core strength. On one of those days we will have a challenge with the gray team. We are responsible to exercise on our own and watch our food intake.

Personal Information:
I live in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes region. A beautiful area with hills, lakes, waterfalls, farms, vineyards and quaint small towns. We also have many colleges and universities in the area.

Other Information:
Some of my interests include photography, painting, reading, bird watching, gardening and taking classes at our senior citizen center.

Our library was closed to install new carpeting.... and probably do some routine maintenance, too... They say that August is their lowest use time, but that's hard to imagine....

But the carpet DIS need to be replaced after 16 years of heavy use, and that would be impossible to do without closing the library for a time....

Good morning! Thanks for all your kind responses to my postings, it's nice to get.
I go through a lot of stag horn sumac as a seasoning, both in salads and on meats. We also make sumac soda and a Native American lemonade with it. It has a nice tart, lemony flavor to it, and if I harvest and prepare my own it's cheap.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Congee is a rice gruel/porridge made by boiling a small amount of rice in a large amount of liquid for a long time, so that the rice swells up and breaks apart, and the result is a thick porridge. Congee is most flavorful when made with a broth. If I have a chicken or turkey carcass, then I usually use it to make congee. There's a nice wiki page describing how congee is made in different cultures.

Wow, you are doing *fabulous*! Congratulations! Good luck with the rest of your journey!
