My Program:
The dare to lose program runs for 8 weeks at a time. We are starting on week four now. We train with a exercise physiologist on two days a week for 1 1/2 hours. Weights, cardio, snd core strength. On one of those days we will have a challenge with the gray team. We are responsible to exercise on our own and watch our food intake.

Personal Information:
I live in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes region. A beautiful area with hills, lakes, waterfalls, farms, vineyards and quaint small towns. We also have many colleges and universities in the area.

Other Information:
Some of my interests include photography, painting, reading, bird watching, gardening and taking classes at our senior citizen center.

We do have Craigslist, but I've never heard of Freecycle. I do occasionally put requests on Craigslist and a few pages on Facebook, and have gotten a few responses with fabric, for which I am very grateful. Even the least expensive items cost pretty much, since I do them in large quantities. I recall paying 3/$1.00 for spools of thread! (Now they are $3 and $4 each, and price of laces, appliques, ribbon, elastic, Velcro are also sky high). But I'm not complaining. I always seem to manage to get 30, 40 or even 50 dolls done at a time! I'll look up freecycle, though I doubt it's anywhere near here or I would have likely heard of it at least once! Have a great day!

Thanks for you comment on my "chemo doll" blog today. My main problem is I cannot afford purchasing appliques or shirts, etc. I buy all my fabric at thrift shops, rummage sales and on occasion at the hobby stores (with coupon).

I may have to skip the boys this trip (I'm going Oct. 13th to deliver dolls I am completing now), but maybe in the Spring trip I'll make superhero capes and masks.

I'm glad I came to thank you for responding, because when I see the weight that you lost, I am excited and motivated! Thanks for that, as well!

You wrote (on my blog post): We must be knights of the not around the table.

That made me laugh out loud! : )

I see you've lost 126+ pounds! Bravo. I have a similar loss (120+ pounds).

Hope you have a great day!
