I am competing as a team member with a great group of women. Our program is called Dare to Lose! There are some similarities to the biggest loser. We meet twice a week for 1 1/2 hours with our trainers, have challenges and weigh ins and are responsible for watching or food intake and exercising at least 2 more times a week. My Program:
The dare to lose program runs for 8 weeks at a time. We are starting on week four now. We train with a exercise physiologist on two days a week for 1 1/2 hours. Weights, cardio, snd core strength. On one of those days we will have a challenge with the gray team. We are responsible to exercise on our own and watch our food intake.

Personal Information:
I live in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes region. A beautiful area with hills, lakes, waterfalls, farms, vineyards and quaint small towns. We also have many colleges and universities in the area.

Other Information:
Some of my interests include photography, painting, reading, bird watching, gardening and taking classes at our senior citizen center.

Thank you for reading my blog. One way to downsize and get rid of stuff you don't need is to go from owning 2 homes to owning just one. Wow! What to keep, what to sell, what to give away or throw out -- it occupies your mind for a while let me tell you! But when it's all over I think it will be good.

Don't know how I will like the winter in the mountains when I have been used to the Phoenix area for the past 14 years, but we will see. Might motivate us to vacation a time or two. lol
