I am competing as a team member with a great group of women. Our program is called Dare to Lose! There are some similarities to the biggest loser. We meet twice a week for 1 1/2 hours with our trainers, have challenges and weigh ins and are responsible for watching our food intake and exercising at least 2 more times a week. My Program:
The dare to lose program runs for 8 weeks at a time. We are starting on week four now. We train with a exercise physiologist on two days a week for 1 1/2 hours. Weights, cardio, snd core strength. On one of those days we will have a challenge with the gray team. We are responsible to exercise on our own and watch our food intake.

Personal Information:
I live in upstate New York in the Finger Lakes region. A beautiful area with hills, lakes, waterfalls, farms, vineyards and quaint small towns. We also have many colleges and universities in the area.

Other Information:
Some of my interests include photography, painting, reading, bird watching, gardening and taking classes at our senior citizen center.

Thanks for your comments on my pool walking blog. Re the side stepping, its going to be a definite addition to Friday morning's session, while the high stepping is something I try to do when I'm at the deeper end of the pool. That warm water leaves me feeling like I've had a wonderful, long massage too - today I felt so good I didn't even bother sitting in the spa for the usual 30 minutes - I've discovered doing so leaves me so tired that I come home, sit in a chair with a bottle of water, and nine times out of ten I fall asleep. Guess there IS such a thing as being too relaxed! emoticon
