I'm celebrating my 5 year anniversary with Spark People. I've lost 54 pounds thanks to motivating and supportive Spark friends like you! I have some more to lose but am grateful for where I am because of things you've shared during your journey! Thank you so very much for being there!

Good idea with yoghurt in Icecubes and freezze it and put it in a foodprocessor. I have some berries in my garden I can add to it and get some nice and healthy icecream

Thank you for joining me at my “Friday Happy Hour” blog, and I hope you'll make them a regular part of your Friday afternoon routine.
I am so very happy that they bring a smile to your face, and a giggle from your belly! The Cole Slaw cartoon was my favorite of the bunch too - I saved the best for last!
That is precisely the intention for which they are created, and I welcome and love reading every single one of your comments and feedback. As long as you keep coming, I’ll try my best to keep you rolling on the floor with laughter! I’ll see you next Friday!

Thank you for deciding to come and visit my page today, and to read my "The Positive Side of Discouragement" blog! I have reached a plateau on my weight loss again, and I have been trying to understand and get past it.

I sometimes have difficulty facing Monday mornings because I know it's the start of a whole week ahead, but the last few weeks have seen no perceived progress, and I was beginning to become quite discouraged. As the week wore on, I thought others might be having the same difficulty, too - and so as I mulled things over in my head this blog evolved.

I do hope that whenever you are feeling discouraged, you'll remember to stop and search for the "positive side of your discouragement".

I hope it helped to put some things into perspective for you too, and gave you a new perspective - along with a positive spin on your day to help you finish your week with renewed spirit.

We had to stay this year due to my mom falling and breaking 2 major bones. She fell on 3/15 and just the past Sat. was discharged from rehab. Will be going to outpatient rehab for 4 weeks yet. After 3 trips home in 4 months for 3 family deaths & our son developing major blood clots, it's been a tough yr. So we are "learning" how to stay cool in this heat. I cleaned part of our house today while helping mom with going up and down steps & daily cares. Would love to head out for a couple weeks camping but won't happen this summer and the future is uncertain.
