I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world.
I try to live every day in gratitude
for my life as it is TODAY,
right now,
in this very moment.
I'm retired at 65 and still paying my bills (barely).
I've been married forever (49years!)
to the man of my dreams (most days),
my high school sweetheart.
My 3 children are all grown,
as happy and as healthy as I could make them.
I finally became a grammy in 2009!
Now we have three little darlings.

I just sold my beautiful second home on the sweet island of Anguilla and moved from a little condo back to a three bedroom house (up-sized!)

I LOVE to exercise and meditate.
I also love to eat and drink!
Time to get rid of these extra 50 pounds that have crept up on me in the last 20 -30 years of living the good life.
Progress Report (if I don't put it here, I'll lose track of it):
1/11/09 just lurking*** -2
1/18 started tracking ***-4
1/25 -0***lost 6 in Jan.
2/22 +1***lost 2 in Feb
3/29 -1***lost 4 in March, 12 lbs down!
4/25 -1***lost 3 in April, 14 lbs down!
5/16 -0 (after 2 weeks of increased calories)
***5/18 -1 !!!***
***5/19 -1 !!!***
5/31 -0 down 3lbs for May, 18 altogether
***6/1-20 on vacation @JasmineVilla
6/21 ***+2 (but SO worth it!)
6/27 ***-2 (easy come, easy go)

7/31 ***-0 (- the usual 3/month) -22
8/2 ***-2
8/9 ***+2 :(
8/15 *** -2 I must get off this roller coaster.
8/23 ***-1 (down 3 for Aug- 25 altogether!!!)

I ended up down 2 for Sept- up 3 for Oct-
recommitting for November.
November- who the heck knows?
December- ditto!
Jan -March/10- same!
April- yahoo!!! increased calories- down 2 pounds!
update- it's Oct-2010- on a one year plateau but not giving up- never, ever, ever. Every month I try something new.

ANOTHER NEW update- after maintaining 168 for SO long,
my weight crept up 1-2 lbs a month since I developed hip bursitis and I am now (June 2011)
hovering around 180.
9/1/2012 update- STILL hovering around 180...
9/1/2013 ....still 181...
Will I give up?
AGAIN...12/2014 ...182-4 most days
(How great t9 be able to look back!)
10/17. After starting LCHF last year I happily touched 170 a few times but then slacked off and gained 10 back in a year and am now back to 180 AGAIN!

    Oh ain't that the truth. Most of our life is lived between our chin and or forehead. Thanks for the bloglove. I think I will just keep on enjoying the blinged up art chart goals. I'll think about Other Goals some Other Time.

    Got your Water challenge and I'm up it.
    My water bottle is filled for the gym today (it holds about 3 glasses).
    (BTW...does coffee and wine count?)
    I've been MIA from Sparkpeople for a while, but every now then, check in

    Grounding has been scientifically proven to work, whether you believe it or not. It's not about floating my boat. And I'm not saying that everyone should ground. I am saying that I find it beneficial to me. The information is out there for all of us. Some grab on and some don't.
