I am eating healthy, the least processed, store bought foods I can afford, and cooking at home. I have an at home gym (minimal equipment), workout DVDs, and enjoy outdoor exercise related activities such as walking/jogging.
I am happily married to an amazing man. I just started a new career as an LPN at a Family Practice. I'm working full time. My youngest of 4 is just now 11 months, and I have a 7, 14 and 18 year old. (yes, I'm crazy, lol) I am determined to make this work. Wish me luck! And good luck to you!!!

Just dropping in on you from the Healthy Holidays Challenge team to share one of my all time favorite quotes with you! (I find it so motivating that I've permanently placed it on my Spark page.) I hope it motivates you too. Thanks for being on the journey with me! Hugs, Pixie
"Think about how different life could be if you stopped emphasizing the end, the fix or getting there, and began enjoying each step of the way. If one moment was as good as the next. If the goal in life was not to fix yourself but to transform yourself. Here, after all, is a miracle; you are already on the journey. You already know and already have everything you need to continue. Relax, breathe, be kind to yourself and everyone else. Oh, there's one more thing; enjoy the ride!" (Geneen Roth)
"Three of the most powerful words in the English language are 'I AM RESPONSIBLE.' It's tough to do, but when the day comes that you can say those words, believe them, and mean them, it will be the most liberating moment of your life. Taking responsibility for all of your results, for better or for worse, is taking back your power to create results in your life." -Tom Venuto
Happy Monday! Just dropping by to wish you a healthy, successful week! Remember, you are responsible for your own success. I believe in you, and I hope you believe in yourself. See you on the Healthy Holidays team! Hugs, Pixie
"Do not dilute the truth of your potential. We often convince ourselves that we cannot change, that we cannot overcome the circumstances of our lives. That is simply not true. You have been blessed with immeasurable power to make positive changes in your life. But you can't just wish it, you can't just hope it, you can't just want it... you have to LIVE it, BE it, DO it.” -Steve Maraboli
TGIF from the Healthy Holidays Challenge team...and me! I hope you've had a great week, and that your weekend will be even better. Stay strong, stay focused and keep your goals in mind! There are 46 days until New Years Day, and we are going to make progress in that time. Remind yourself over and over that you are worth the effort! (You really are!) Hugs, Pixie
Good morning! I just wanted to visit your page to encourage you to do your best today to make progress! Stay strong this holiday season, because you are worth the effort. There are still 49 days until New Years Day, so make each day count! Let me know if you need support. Hugs, Pixie
"Even if the challenges are immense and the obstacles are many, step forward and live the life you choose to live. Your dreams are worth every effort. Even if you get knocked down again and again, get right back up and get going. With enough persistence, any goal is within your reach. Even if you can’t see all the way to the end of the road, go ahead and take the first step. Each time you make some progress, you’ll find new ways to make even more. Even if your results fall short of your expectations, keep making the effort. Each new day brings you more experience, wisdom and effectiveness. Even if you’ve been deeply disappointed in the past, focus on the positive possibilities. For your future is what you choose to make it now." — Ralph Marston
“You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It's not like you have forever, so don't waste any of your seconds, don't throw even one of your moments away.” -Unknown
