1 Year to Life change

Hello!
My name is Meg, and I've decided to dedicate the year of 2013 to changing my life. My goal is to lose 83 pounds before the next holiday season, and learn a new lifestyle that helps me maintain my goal weight.

My name is Meg, and I've decided to dedicate the year of 2013 to changing my life. My goal is to lose 83 pounds before the next holiday season, and learn a new lifestyle that helps me maintain my goal weight.

Heaviest weight used to be 207 in the beginning of 2011, but now it's 213 in January 2013 :(

In 2012, I had frequently gone out to dinner, spent weekends being inactive, and drank alcohol (usually a glass of wine or two) almost every night, and sometimes more on weekends. I've also "gone all out" on any vacation I had, even if it was just a weekend to a city a couple hours away.

I've recognized that these are self destructive habits, and I'm going to try to go a year with very few restaurant trips, cooking more, being active at least once each weekend, stop drinking except on occasion, and planning my vacation meals by packing a healthy cooler, even for weekend trips.

My goal is not just to sacrifice 2013 to becoming a new me, but to develop a pattern and lifestyle where these new behaviors become the norm for me.

My lowest weight since high school was 138, so I've never made it to my goal weight of 130. I need to take action before my "highest weight" continues to get higher and higher each year,

My Program:
-Personal Training 1x a week, Gym classes 1-2x a week, 2 days of cardio or Xbox Kinect

-Low and Medium GI foods, No white carbs, and little to no added sugars. High protein/veggies. Eat every 3-4 hours and no big meals late night.

-1-2 alcoholic beverages per week
