My Goals:
Simply to reach my goals for exercise and eating right for each week. I apparently can't expect to lose at any particular rate, but I CAN take care of myself and the results will take care of themselves!

Personal Information:
I have 3 kids and
2 stepchildren and 7 grandchildren. I am very happily married to the love of my life. I teach at a small private school and am the academic dean there as well.

Other Information:
Going to use this to list the benefits I gain from a healthy way of living.
1. My resting heart rate has dropped from about 85 to 60!!!
2. looser pants
3. more stamina
4. better sleep
5. MUCH less difficulty with restless legs
6. Generally more relaxed and ... comfortable
7. I can feel my upper abdominal muscles when I am lying down and raise my head and shoulders!
8. My blood pressure has come down from about 126/80 to 110/68
9. More stamina :-)

It is so awesome you found my journal impressive, I am determined to go all the way this. Writing things down has been helping me a lot. 'mini shred' is doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred in 15 days instead of the whole 30 days. So instead of doing each level for 10 days each, it is 5 days each. I hope you can join in someday.
