It's My First 29th Birthday!

And actually, I'm going to keep it that way. I am making the decision today (Monday October 13th, 2014), my birthday, that I am only going to be 29 once. I want to be able to proudly say my age in the future, because I know that the more healthy choices I make, the more weight I lose, and the better I take care of myself now, I more than likely won't even look my age anyway! I just know that 29 is going to be my healthiest year yet! I am starting my 29th year on a downward weight trend, which ...

Obviously things won't always go my way, and I will fall off the wagon more than once over the next year, but I know that the great community on SparkPeople will help be stay on track. My ultimate goal in the next year is to be at my goal weight by my next birthday! This is going to be a life changing journey!

My Goals:
-To Lose at least 1lb/week
-To Get 25mins of exercise everyday
-To Plan My Meals Ahead of Time
-To get at least 5,000 steps everyday
-To get at least 10,000 steps twice a week

My Program:
I see a personal trainer on Tuesday's and Thursday's, go to a yoga class on Sunday's and aim to get a few more cardio sessions in each week. Also, lots of water and more veggies! I have also made the decision to only weigh in at the gym. (Except for the 1st of the month)

Personal Information:
I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and am a radio DJ (so I spend a lot of time sitting on my butt!). I also pet sit on the side and really love animals. I read at least one book a month and am always looking for reading material on health.
